Questions?...
Q. WHAT IS THE COST?
A. Dance tuition depends upon how many classes your child is involved in. Payments are flat fees and are to be paid the first class of every month. Payments received after the 15th of a month are subject to a $10.00 late fee. Full year tuition payment is also available.
Q. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
A. We encourage all dancers to wear leotards, biker/dance shorts, pull on/wrap skirts and so on (primarily pink for the younger and darker colors for our older dancers). Baggy clothes such as oversized tees, jeans or any form of denim are not acceptable. Hip hop classes are the exception to the rule (please consult the studio). It is important to wear the proper dance wear so that the instructor is able to observe the lines and placement of the body to insure proper form. Hair should be pulled back.
Q. WHAT DO I DO IN CLASS?
A. Almost every class is different in its form but include many of the following guidelines: ballet barre and/or center warm up, stretching, across the floor skills such as various leaps, jumps and turns, dance choreography and class cool down.
Q. WHAT IF MY DANCER ISN'T FEELING WELL OR WILL BE ABSENT?
A. Please notify the studio/teacher by text.
Q. WHAT IS YOUR WEATHER POLICY?
A. Both studios follow the East Lycoming and Lewisburg school district policies regarding WEATHER. Ex. IF a school dismisses early due to weather or is cancelled due to weather, then that studio is closed as well. We do NOT follow the school schedules according to their Holiday closings. A full calendar of closings will be handed out to students and is available in the studios! Check social media if unsure!
Q. AS A PARENT, AM I ABLE TO WATCH CLASS?
A. We do have special weeks thru the year that allow parents to come see what we have been working on in class. Only during these weeks do we have parents sit in on the class. Having the students in the studio working with us one on one allows us to grow a relationship of knowing that our studio is a safe environment while we work on building student to teacher trust.
Q. IS THERE A RECITAL?
A. Yes! Once a year we hold our annual dance recital showcasing the things we have been working on over the past dance season. Recitals are held in May and June (Lewisburg/Hughesville). Recital is a time that additional fees are occurred. Costume fees are due in November & December as orders are placed to guarantee we have them for the actual recital dates. Each class has it's own costume and some combo classes may require two costumes.
