"The owners and teachers often say they see their students as their family and they truly are

family! They love their dancers and they invest so much into them that goes well beyond the

world of dance. They provide quality dance instruction in a very welcoming environment and

they teach everything from ballet to hip-hop! Beyond that, they foster an environment that

teaches commitment, team work, and the importance of establishing work ethic all while

demonstrating kindness and respect. They challenge dancers to not only be better dancers but

to be better people who are kind, caring, and supportive of others.

This has been my daughter, Ava’s, 2nd home for nearly 14 years as a dancer. She has grown so

much as a dancer through her regular classes, competition classes, and private dance lessons. A

few years ago, Ava expressed a desire to continue dancing at a professional level once she

graduates, and the D&K dance family has listened, guided, encouraged, and supported us

through this journey. She still has 2 years to go but she has already had training in NYC and at a

conservatory because of the guidance and support of the D&K family who care and want their

dancers to succeed. They shared opportunities with us that we didn’t even know were out

there and now my daughter can see that her dream can become a reality! They share in her

excitement, her dreams, and her successes, and not just hers but others as well.

My son, Christopher, has also been a big part of the D&K family. He has taken piano lessons

with Kellie for nearly a decade. He has loved his weekly sessions with her and he has grown so

much in his talent! Kellie is so easy to talk with and has always been so encouraging to him!

Christopher will soon be starting college and because of his experience at D&K, he is expecting

to minor in music!

We can’t thank Duane, Kellie, and the rest of the D&K family enough for everything they do, for

what they provide for the kids, and for just simply being who they are because who they are is

reflected in every aspect of this wonderful studio. You can expect to work hard and get

excellent training but at the same time have fun and create lifelong memories! If we had to

choose all over again, we would choose the D&K family!"
